Diploma of Building and Construction (Building), CPC50220

Step up into site management and building leadership. This 52-week diploma covers planning, contract administration, estimating, structural principles, WHS and managing residential and low-rise commercial building projects. A widely recognised qualification for those working toward a builder's licence.

Certificate IV in Building and Construction, CPC40120

Ideal for tradespeople ready to supervise, estimate and run small to medium building projects. Covers cost planning, applying construction codes, WHS management and supervising building work, a strong pathway into the Diploma and licensed builder roles.

Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining, CPC31220

A hands-on trade qualification for wall and ceiling liners. Learn to install plasterboard, suspended ceilings, cornices and decorative linings to Australian standards. Perfect for those entering the trade or formalising on-the-job experience.

Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying, CPC33020

Do I need construction experience to enrol?

Certificate III trade courses (Wall & Ceiling Lining, Bricklaying) are open to new entrants, no prior experience is required. The Certificate IV and Diploma are best suited to students with some construction background or prior trade qualification. Our advisors can help match you with the right course.

Will the Diploma of Building and Construction help me get a builder's licence?

The CPC50220 Diploma is a nationally recognised qualification commonly used as part of a builder's licence application. Licensing requirements vary by state and typically also require documented industry experience. Speak to your relevant state building authority for specific licensing criteria.
