About the Courses
MSF30322 Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology
Designed for students seeking hands-on, specialised skills in designing, constructing, and installing cabinetry and furniture. Students will learn to:
- Work with both hand and power tools
- Interpret and produce production drawings and cutting lists
- Install kitchen and bathroom cabinetry
- Apply sustainable practices in timber technology
This qualification includes 25 units of competency (8 core + 17 electives) covering workplace safety, sustainability, CNC operations, and cabinetry installation.
CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry
This program equips students with essential carpentry trade skills needed for residential and commercial construction. Key learning outcomes include:
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Using carpentry tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Constructing framework, roofing, formwork, and structures
- Applying WHS, environmental, and sustainable work practices
The qualification prepares graduates for a career as a trade carpenter, opening pathways to employment in construction and building projects across Australia.

Entry Requirements & Duration
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- Domestic students: completion of Year 10 or equivalent
- International students: must also demonstrate English language proficiency (IELTS 6.0 or equivalent) and meet numeracy/literacy standards
